HTC has been a name to be reckoned with always and their newest offering HTC Trophy is no less appreciated than the others. It’s a brilliant new Windows 7 phone in the market and it’s a global ready smart phone at just the right price to not dent your pockets. This phone is just so compact and lightweight and comes with some excellent features that are totally drool worthy. It isn’t too big or too small, in fact it is just the right size to be trendy. The HTC trophy runs well with 3G although it doesn’t support 4G which might be some cause for tears. Although speeds are not going to be at the levels of LTE, most carriers are running awesome on 3G so that shouldn’t be a deterrent.

HTC hub so no trouble

You have this device coming with preinstalled Netflix, Office and HTC hub so no trouble with downloading and installing them on your own. You can access windows marketplace with an email ID (Live, hotmail or MSN) and get going to find all the apps you need to personalize this device more to your tastes. HTC trophy has its biggest appeal in the size and weight which really is a great fit in your pocket. With WVGA TFT 3.8 inch capacitive screen and 800×400 display it is a great size to carry around and weighs just 4.9 ounces. The black rim which has a nice matte finish is a delight to look at and also comfortable to hold.

4G by supporting both CDMA and GSM

It is a pretty handy phone which makes up for not having 4G by supporting both CDMA and GSM so when you are traveling and in any corner of the world, connectivity will not be a problem. There is a 1GHz Qualcomm processor in the HTC trophy which keeps it running at really good speeds. The good news is that the battery at 1300mAh runs it very well without any complications so kudos to Microsoft on optimizing power requirements on this phone. It has QWERTY keyboard, WiFi, Bluetooth, FM radio and fixed storage of 8GB with 512 MB of ROM and 576 MB of RAM. The camera supports video recording at 720p and has a clarity of 5MP with an LED flash. A very neat package is offered with so many standard features available on this mid range phone. It also has sensors for ambient light, gravity, proximity and a compass.

Micro USB port

You have the volume settings on the upper hand right side, speakers at the back, micro USB port for connectivity and a small microphone on the lower edge of the phone. You can hold down the call button to automatically enable the voice recognition capabilities on the phone which is quite a snazzy addition. Call quality on the HTC trophy is also pretty good whether you use speakers, hands free or talk in the regular fashion. This handset is quite solid and a really good buy without looking cheap or slippery at any point.
